Catherine Grant (founder, and co-editor/producer, with Russell Pearce, of SEQUENCE, is a part-time Senior Lecturer in Film Studies in the School of Media, Film and Music at the University of Sussex, UK. She runs the Film Studies For Free, Filmanalytical and Audiovisualcy websites, where she specialises in digital and creative forms of film studies. In 2012, guest edited the inaugural issue of online journal Frames on digital forms of film studies. She is also the editor of REFRAME, the digital platform for research in media, film and music, hosted by the School of Media, Film and Music, University of Sussex, which publishes SEQUENCE.
