He is the author of seventeen books, including\u00a0<em>The Freudian Body: Psychoanalysis and Art<\/em>\u00a0(1986),<em>The Culture of Redemption\u00a0<\/em>(1990),\u00a0<em>Homos<\/em>\u00a0(1995),\u00a0<em>Intimacies<\/em>\u00a0(co-authored with Adam Phillips, 2008),<em>\u00a0<\/em><em>Is the Rectum a Grave? and Other Essays<\/em>\u00a0(2010),\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Thoughts and Things<\/em>\u00a0(2015)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Bersani&#8217;s lecture at Sussex will range across various aspects of psychoanalysis, philosophy, film and literature, including the work of Lacan, D.H.
