Her monograph,\u00a0<em>On Matricide: Myth, Psychoanalysis and the Law of the Mother<\/em>,\u00a0is an intervention into classical psychoanalysis via feminist philosophy.\u00a0 Her recent research and publications are \u00a0in audiovisual culture, film theories, the relation between new media technologies and unconscious fantasy and theories of feminist and queer spectatorship. She is a member of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbk.ac.uk\/arts\/research\/birkbeck-institute-for-the-moving-image\" target=\"_blank\">Birkbeck Institute for the Moving Image<\/a> and a founder of the<a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/oktopusfilms\" target=\"_blank\"> Oktopus Film Collective<\/a>. She also makes her own films, radio and video essays.
