I am emeritus professor of psychoanalytic psychology at the University of Kent in Canterbury where she teaches an undergraduate course, ‘Freud & Post-Freud’, in the university’s school of psychology. I also work as a clinical psychologist for the NHS in Canterbury. My books include Mothering Psychoanalysis, Kleinians, Freud’s Art, and, most recently, Art, Psychoanalysis, and Adrian Stokes: A Biography.
