He is also an assistant professor at the Leibniz Universit\u00e4t Hannover and a member of the interdisciplinary research unit \u201cPopular Seriality\u2014Aesthetics and Practice,\u201d based at the Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin. From September 2016, he will be Assistant Professor of Art &amp; Art History (teaching in the Film &amp; Media Program) at Stanford University. He is the author of\u00a0<em>Postnaturalism: Frankenstein, Film, and the Anthropotechnical Interface<\/em>\u00a0(Transcript-Verlag \/ Columbia UP, 2014) and co-editor of several collections:\u00a0<em>Transnational Perspectives on Graphic Narratives\u00a0<\/em>(Bloomsbury, 2013),\u00a0<em>Digital Seriality\u00a0<\/em>(special issue of\u00a0<em>Eludamos: Journal for Computer Game Culture<\/em>, 2014), as well as the present volume.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u200bJulia Leyda<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">\u200b<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>is Senior Fellow in the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies, Potsdam, as well as Fellow with the DFG Research Unit \u201cPopular Seriality&#8211;Aesthetics and Practice\u201d and Senior Research Fellow in the Graduate School for North American Studies, both at the John F. Kennedy Institute, Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin. In August 2016, she will take up an Associate Professorship of Film Studies in the Department of Art and Media Studies at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim. She is editor or co-editor of\u00a0<i class=\"\">Todd Haynes: Interviews<\/i>\u00a0(UP of Mississippi, 2014),\u00a0<i class=\"\">Extreme Weather and Global Media<\/i>\u00a0(with Diane Negra, Routledge, 2015), and\u00a0<i class=\"\">The Aesthetics and Affects of Cuteness<\/i>\u00a0(with Joshua Paul Dale, Joyce Goggin, Anthony P. McIntyre, and Diane Negra, Routledge 2017).
