Tierney is author of the first, full length English language study of the Mexican director&#8217;s work: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.academia.edu\/500294\/Emilio_Fernandez_pictures_in_the_margins\">Emilio Fern\u00e1ndez: pictures in the margins<\/a> (Manchester University Press, 2007).
