News Making Processes was an analysis of UK terrestrial television from the 7th July – 29th July 2005 conducted by the Television Task Force on behalf of Media Watch.

MEDIA WATCH is an investigative performance concerning how media find, use and present information. Dedicated to analysing media speak, subtext and information dissemination, MEDIA WATCH operates through the contributions of Task Forces and Correspondents located throughout the globe. Troping bureaucratic structures and institutional rhetoric MEDIA WATCH reflects on sensationalisation as an essential component in news making, the role of 21st century ‘Citizen Reporter’ and the relation between art and activism.

Curated and led by Joanna Callaghan for the KISSS project.
