According to the newspaper, Cannes is co-operating with the China Film Exchange and Cooperation Association and the Asia Pacific Exchange and Cooperation Foundation to build a USD 1 billion Film City in Anji County, Zhejiang Province. Integral to this project will apparently be a &#8220;world-class international film festival&#8221;, modelled on Cannes, but with Chinese characteristics.
