The Chinese Film Festival Studies Research Network held its launch workshop on 30 May 2013 at King’s College London, during the activities of the Chinese Visual Festival.

During the workshop, we held a panel together with the Chinese Visual Festival, during which we spoke to organizers of Chinese-language film festivals in London about their experiences.

We were also honoured to host, together with the Chinese Visual Festival, a public lecture from Professor Dina Iordanova of St. Andrew’s University, entitled “Yingying, Zhenzhen and Fenfen? China at the Festivals.”
